Contract Management
LCCL has extensive experience in managing contracts under many different standard forms of contract. Richard has undertaken the course in contract law and NEC3 (CLCM qualification, ICE Certificate Law and Contract Management) and RICS diploma in adjudication. As well as assisting companies in claim preparation Richard has expereince in adjudication and in managing contracts for large Contractors. Richard gained experience running his own construction company for 12 years so understands how frustrating it can be when clients do not pay. In addition Richard worked for a claims consultant company offering expert witness, cause and quantum engineering support to law and insurance firms.
Consulting Services can be offered on a pre or post contract basis and can be provided as supplementary or complementary to your own resources, or even offered as a pre-health check to your organisation processes or systems.
Pre-contract: review of tender inquiries, contract terms and conditions, assistance with tendering, particularly NEC3/NEC4, and z clauses, or Business Cases, Quality Plan, or generally assisting staff pulling the tender together.
Post Contract: review or compilation of claims, compensation events, Loss and Expense claims, assistance with contract administration, earned value management reporting (SPI, CPI), programmes, assessment dispute and audits or health checks.
Quality and General Business
I can help pull your quality plans together (now required by NEC4) or provide a general health check of your business processes, and dashboard reporting.
