The company is headed up by Richard Marsh, a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng, MICE) with over 30 years’ experience in delivery of projects in Civil Engineering construction and the offshore Oil and Gas industry.  With two spells of working in the Oil and Gas industry Richard started as an engineer, designing and installing offshore and subsea equipment in the North Sea, beyond the Arctic Circle and the North Atlantic.  Latterly he returned to the industry as a Project Manager and Engineering Project Manager and throughout was working on projects worth up to £1billion. In 2000, Richard ran his own contracting construction company (LMC) for 12 years; although based in the North West, the company undertook construction works over the whole of the UK with the focus of the work being on marine construction, including harbours and port work, bridges, canals, boathouses and ground stabilisation.

Richard is now working as a Consultant and part-time Lecturer in Project and Contract Management having achieved further qualifications as a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and in dispute resolution: adjudication, contract law and NEC3/4.  He is a member of the Association of Project Management, Institute of Civil Engineers and Society of Construction Law.

Working for the University of Cumbria and lecturing to employees of Sellafield Ltd, BAE, Rolls Royce and their respective supply chains, in Project and Contract Management Richard has developed and presented material on Project Management, Contract  Law and Contract Management (specifically NEC3),Quality in projects, Health and Safety for Managers.
